Hello there! As you might have guessed from the title of this blog my name is Vit Salomon (Vít Šalomon in my native tongue) and here you will find my thoughts on various topics that interest me.

Though it should be clear from the blog’s title, ideas and views expressed on these pages are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of my friends, coworkers, employers, yadi yadi yada. Just so you know.

Some small info about me and consequently topics that you will find here; I have always been pulled towards computers and technology. I started to learn programming in early teen years, got my first dev job during my first year of uni and since 2016 I’ve focused in multimedia in general - SmartTVs, HbbTV, web portals for streaming services and the likes. And since 2023 I specialize on media players.

Apart from that I also like simracing, flight sims, open source, motorcycles and science fiction.
